MULTIGEL®TECHNOLOGY

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

MULTIGEL® is a system for cross-linked acrylamide copolymer in aqueous environments. It is able to form gels that allow the reduction of water-flows in productive and injection wells. It is the blend of a water soluble polymer with a cross-linking agent. At oil well conditions (T, P) a three-dimensional net which traps water inside. The gel is formed within the oil well and once it is formed it reduces permeability of the reservoir.


 

Prototype formulations


• MULTIGEL® HT: Recommended for oil wells with temperatures ranging between 230 - 302 °F
• MULTIGEL® LT: Recommended for oil wells with temperatures ranging between 158 - 230 °F
• MULTIGEL® UHT: Recommended for oil wells with temperatures ranging between 260 - 320 °F
• MULTIGEL® ULT: Recommended for oil wells with temperatures ranging between 130 - 170 °F
