Food Additive Business
This business manufactures and commercializes food ingredients with high quality standards and performance properties. The food additives are designed to offer specific solutions to our costumers' product and process requirements.
In addition to fumaric acid, we offer hot (HWS) and cold water (CWS) soluble acidulants with a broad range of grain diameters. These products ease product homogenization in food preparation and lead to greater equipment and process efficiency. With two manufacturing plants, one in Colombia and another in Mexico, we address the requirements of important food and industrial sector firms in America and the Caribbean.
Within the hydrocolloid segment (or biogums) we offer products such as Xanthan and Carrageenan Gums. They are manufactured by Gelymar S.A., a Chilean company ranked among one of the four best Carrageenan producers worldwide.
With products of superior performance and others that will be included progressively, we are aiming to integrate ourselves to our clients strategies and become a marked cost-benefit commercial alternative.
